These moments are the true gifts, the ones that stay with us forever.
Though they are grown now, one of my greatest joys has always been planning our family’s adventures.
Why I Believe Travel Matters
When people ask about my favorite travel memory, it's almost impossible to choose just one. But one experience will always stay with me: standing on the beaches of Normandy and walking through the American Cemetery alongside my 21-year-old daughter.
As we looked across the endless rows of white crosses honoring more than 4,000 Americans who gave their lives for freedom, we were overwhelmed with gratitude for the young men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for generations of people they would never know. In that sacred place, history became deeply personal. It was a powerful reminder that the freedoms we enjoy today came at an unimaginable cost.
The most meaningful journeys do more than show us beautiful places. They deepen our understanding, broaden our perspective, and connect us to the stories, sacrifices, and people who have shaped our world.
